After launching a free theme Ceremonial: Free WordPress Theme and a Premium Magazine Style Theme, I am glad to announce a new premium theme for WordPress Photoblogs and Portfolio blogs. I present you: PhotoBlog Premium Theme!

Features of PhotoBlog Premium Theme

• Built exclusively for WordPress 2.7. (Not tested on earlier versions).
• Featured Content on the homepage and in the Sidebar. Number of posts is controlled on the Widgets Page in the Admin Panel.
• Main menu is custom-built (same as on EVENTINA). Check this for an example of hierarchy.
• Auto-resizing and cropping for thumbnails (TimThumb script)
• Only 1 custom field for images, the rest is done by TimThumb
• Custom image sizes for uploaded images

Features in detail

Custom Multi-Level Main Menu.

The main menu looks great both on sites with a few categories and on sites with tens (or even hundreds) of categories. On page load, it does not load ALL categories as most drop-down menus do, it loads only the required categories.

Featured Posts on the homepage

You can add any amount of “Featured Posts” on the homepage. You can control the number of posts in the Widgets section of the Admin Panel, you don’t have to edit any files.

Dynamic Image Resizing

On the post’s page, visitors can preview the uploaded images in a wide range of sizes. TimThumb creates (and caches, if configured correctly) all these images. Very nice for resizing photos as wallpapers for different screen resolutions. Upload only the image of the highest size available, PhotoBlog will take care of the rest.

jQuery Tabs in the Sidebar

In the sidebar, 4 important blocks are done with jQuery Tabs, thus saving a lot of important space. These tabs include: popular posts (most comments), recent comments, recent posts, popular tags.

jQuery Tabs are also used in the comments section of every post. Comments, Trackbacks and Pings are separated in different tabs, which is very nice and useful.

Comments added by Administrator are highlighted in the list of comments, this is very useful for posts with many comments.
