‘Marley and Me’ top dog on DVD charts
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – The family hit “Marley & Me” exhibited both bark and bite when it debuted on home video, topping the national DVD sales and rental charts during the week ended April 5.
The movie, which has a $143 million theatrical pedigree, easily captured the No. 1 spot on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart, besting two other new releases, including “Slumdog Millionaire,” this year’s best picture Oscar winner.
